How do I make an Android App?
First, you’ll need a mobile web site or HTML code in order to convert it to App. Start the wizard
and follow two steps to create an Android App. In the first step you´ll be asked for a website url or HTML code, name, description, and category. In the last step you´ll be asked to provide information to access your Dashboard including your name, e-mail, and password. Your e-mail will be used as your login name to Dashboard.
Where I can get HTML code?
You can create it yourself, hire web developer or find a web widget using a free widget creating service. You can use this code as an example:

What content can I include in my App?
You can use plain HTML code or a content block of your website for your App.
You can also use JavaScript, AJAX, and Flash.
Does AppsGeyser support HTML5?
Yes, it fully supports HTML5. You can use all functionality HTML5 provides like local storage or Geo location
What is QR code?
QR code is a two-dimensional matrix code similar to a bar code. All Apps on AppsGeyser have their own QR code containing a URL where you can download each App. To get the URL from QR code you'll need to use any bar scanner App. Search for "barcode scanner" on the Android Market.
How do I install Apps?
To install Apps from the web, you need to enable your mobile device to install Apps from third-party places. Open Settings, then choose Applications and make sure that the "Unknown sources" checkbox is checked. Open the App download page, for example

- Just click "DOWNLOAD APP" button
- Open a barcode scanner App on your mobile device and scan the QR code located on this page. You will be prompted to open a link in a browser.
Click Open browser and the App will download. Click Downloaded App in the device's notification area to install it.
What are the requirements to run Apps?
To run AppsGeyser Apps, your Android OS version must be 2.1 or higher, and you must have an Internet connection enabled. For Apps that use Flash, you´ll need Adobe Flash Player installed. Search Android Market for "adobe flash" to find and install the Flash Player.
I start an App but I don´t see anything. Why?
If your App doesn´t run or is running incorrectly, there are several possible reasons:
- Your Android OS version is lower than 2.1
- The App is using Flash and you don´t have Adobe Flash Player installed
- You haven´t established an Internet connection via Wi-Fi or mobile network
What is the Dashboard?
The Dashboard is where you manage your account. You can log in any time to manage your App or get statistics.
How I can promote my App?
Open Distribute tab in your Dashboard to promote your App through different channels. You can publish your App in Android Market and AppsGeyser Market, share via social networks or use our promo tools to promote it on your website.
Can I promote my App through other Apps?
Yes, you can promote your App in other AppsGeyser Apps. If your App qualify we will advertise your App in other AppsGeyser Apps absolutely free. Open Distribute tab in your Dashboard to promote your App.
How much does it cost?
It´s free.
Do you show ads in my apps?
Yes, we show ads in your apps, but for Apps with less than 100 installs there is no ads displayed.
How does your Monetization Program work?
Once your App reaches a required minimum usage, you can share the ad space with your own banners. You can place code from the Ad Network of your choosing and earn 100% of the revenue generated or you can place your own banners to promote your other Apps, you decide. The space is shared 50/50, i.e. half the time your banner will be showed, other half will be occupied with AppsGeyser ad.
How do I participate in the Monetization Program?
Go to AppsGeyser Dashboard, open Monetize tab and click Apply.
If your App qualifies, you can place your banner code on the next step.
If your App does not qualify, follow our suggested steps to Grow your App.
What are requirements for Monetization Program?
Your App has to meet following requirements:
- 100 daily installs
- Usages/installs ratio is more than 4
Can I sell my Apps?
Yes, you can sell your Apps.
Can I get the keystore (private keys and certificate) for my app? I want to update it in Google Play, and I need the keystore.
Unfortunately, for legal reasons, we are unable to give the keystore, private keys or certificate to anyone.
