Create an Android app then sell it

Start your own app building company

With the tools that AppsGeyser provides you have the ability to create apps for other people, selling your creations to them as part of your app building services. AppsGeyser does not give you license key to the app, as this is our secret coding, however, we do provide you with your APK, to allow you to upload your app in any app store

How do I sell an app?

You can either; set yourself up as an app building company, and take in clients for whom you will build apps for, or you can use an app brokerage company to help find an budding appreneur that is looking to purchase an app similar to the one that you have created.

Once you have found yourself a purchaser, you should give them the details to access the AppsGeyser account that you used to create the app with. It is always sensible to create a new account for each app you are looking to sell, this ensures that you are not passing your personal account details to anyone. If you signed up using your facebook profile, contact us here at AppsGeyser and we will be able to help you with the transfer of the app.

Mistakes to avoid

Many people do not pay attention to the fine print when it comes to selling an Android app to another owner, make sure you have considered the following points before you decide to sell:

1: You have a contract with the buyer stating all the app details

2: You have stipulated that the APK will be their property but the license key remains with AppsGeyser

3: You are clear on what is included in the sale, ie: who is responsible for updates to the app etc…

4: Any additional services you wish to include are clearly stated in the contract

Learning how to create an Android app business that can offer bespoke apps for companies and individuals is becoming a popular pastime for many people. It is a great way to earn a secondary income.

My App Was a Success, Personal Stories From Our AppsGeyser Android App Makers

“I am a new App developer as well as web designer and your App software has made my experience very time saving. It’s so user friendly that it was up in moments and the timing couldn’t have been better, because the promo ideas were going out the roof! :D   “

The app maker above, Lamar, contacted us to thank AppsGeyser for the service that we provide. I cannot take the credit for the quality of the work that you, our AppsGeyser Android app makers, produce, the only thing we do here at AppsGeyser is provide you with the tools and it is your creativity, your business planning and your hardwork that turns an app into a success.

Let us take a look at Lamar’s app, called Reality2reel. The app is based upon the company’s website that divulges into the world of music and the arts. Although the website at present is still under construction, we can already see that the website is split into various categories, allowing the user to navigate around the website. To help finance the business, we can see that Lamar has taken the initiative to implement affiliate ads at the top of his app. Although not yet constructed, there are plans to further monetize from the business with an inbuilt ecommerce shop.

The app itself is linked to the RSS feed that feeds from the blog section of the website, this brings up the latest posts that have been posted on the website. At present the mobile version of the app does not show the entire website, therefore the affiliate links and shop do not feature on the mobile version of the website, however, there is an option to show the non mobile version which does indeed include the complete website. We would suggest that Lamar creates further apps to highlight different sections of his website and that the website be fully optimized for mobile use.

Thank you Lamar for allowing us access to your app, we wish you continued success in your app empire mission.
