Should I Make That App?

Hillel Fuld at Tech N’ Marketing posted this great clip by College Humor. It’s a hilarious clip where people come up with ideas for apps, and “The App App” lets them know their chances of success. Here’s the clip. Watch it, then read on to see what I thought of it:

So yes, it’s funny. The ideas in their video were hilarious and watching them get shot down was amusing. I think they’re kind of wrong. Imagine pitching a game where you use physics and geometry to fling weird birds at misshapen pigs. It doesn’t sound very good. Most app pitches probably sound like something that should be shot down immediately, and it’s hard to know what will catch on.
