Marketing Your Android App: Submit it to the Android Market in 5 Easy Steps

May 27th, 2011

Android apps created on AppsGeyser are automatically hosted on the AppsGeyser site. If the app is for personal use or limited distribution, there is no need to list it anywhere else.

You can choose to have your app listed in AppsGeyser’s Gallery and then people browsing AppsGeyser’s gallery may find your app, but the best way to increase downloads is to list your app in the Android Market.

It’s very easy to get your app into the Market. The sign-up fee is just $25, and anyone with an app can get in.

To publish your app to the Apps Market:

  1. Sign Up as a Publisher.
  2. Download your Android app from AppsGeyser.
  3. Click on the “Upload Application” button, and upload your app.
  4. Add screenshots, an icon, and a good description of your app.
  5. Publish.
